Yes, yes, I identify as a gamer, but of course, I’m notjusta gamer. Like me, you probably need a laptop that suits all facets of your life. The ideal laptop is lightweight, fast and versatile, and recently I found one that aces all three categories. I spoke to three people—a gamer, a creator, and a student—who each use theOMEN Transcend 14in different ways.

Working with laptops hasn’t always been easy for Viyaura, a digital artist. “I remember editing YouTube videos on my old laptop. The bottom overheated almost instantaneously. I looked insane working on my projects with my laptop propped in the freezer,” she told me. No more with OMEN Tempest Cooling Go Technology. Keeping cool while avoiding freezer burn is the move.

Stephanie Chen is a student living in New York City for an internship, and she needs a laptop to support her busy, on-the-go lifestyle. Her request for the perfect product was simple: “Lightweight, easy to use, and a long battery life.”

All laptops are portable, obviously, but not all optimize portability. (I’m probably conjuring images of your old seven-pound laptop that held a charge for approximately 30 minutes before dying, leaving you with an expensive paperweight.) The OMEN Transcend 14, at just 3.6 pounds, is OMEN’s lightest laptop, and still, it holds a charge for eight hours plus. That’s a full workday. Forgot your charger? Who cares? You can still get work done from a coffee shop, the subway, or your friend’s couch. “I’m able to transport it comfortably around the city,” Chen told me. “I don’t have to always sit next to an outlet.” And if you don’t start the day with a full charge, the OMEN Transcend 14 only needs 30 minutes to reach 50% capacity—just enough time for a quick lunch break.

Chen said it best: “I wish I discovered the OMEN sooner.”
